Search box/button misaligned?
Reported by sambot | September 2nd, 2008 @ 09:43 PM | in Release v0.1.5
I love this theme! Simple, elegant, easy to work with... thank you!
I am experiencing some weirdness with the search box/button though... take a look at the attached screenshot (Safari, Mac OS X 10.5.4). It's not lining up. I'm okay in IE7, but not in Firefox on Mac or PC (it's about 1 or 2 pixels off)... and totally off on Safari for Mac. Any thoughts? Any way to fix this with CSS? What style would I adjust to push it up or down? Nothing seems to have any effect...
Again, thanks for the great theme!

Yes I see this in Safari 3 for Windows. I'm working on a fix and will post it here probably today. It will be in the 0.1.5 release.

Here is a hack to fix this, but it busts Opera 9.
@media screen and (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio:0) { / Safari 3.0 and Opera 9 rules here /
search_submit{
margin-top:-3px; } }
And it still looks off in IE7. I'm going to re-factor this CSS so this hack is not necessary and it works cross all browsers.
I will post the new CSS here.
